Lending A Helping Hand

When a pet owner had a serious accident resulting in a long stay at a hospital, Porche the Greyhound and Osca the Domestic Short Hair kitty found themselves in a local animal shelter. With no family living in the area, the owner was unable to provide care for his beloved pets. Sadly the shelter, being over crowded, was also unable to provide long term care. It was at this time that Jersey Shore Animal Foundation stepped up to pull both pets from the shelter and place them into a loving foster home. We are hoping they will be reunited mid-April.
UPDATE: Porche was reunited with her owner on April 14, 2013. Sadly, Osca was going to be too much for the owner, so our wonderful foster has agreed to adopt this wonderful kitty. Now renamed Maisy! We LOVE happy endings!
