ATTENTION EVERYONE...meet our SARGE!!!!

A few weeks ago Pitties and Pals rescued a sweet, gentle 6 year old German Sheppard named Sarge from a local shelter.  Although he was initially placed with a foster family, it became abundantly clear Sarge would require more than they could handle. You see, Sarge was abandoned at the shelter by his owner when he began suffering from an unknown medical condition that inhibited his ability to use his back legs.  And while the foster family was willing to provide a loving home, Sarge needed a more focused environment.  Veterinary consultations and x-rays have determined his bones are in excellent condition.  Sarge will need extensive physical therapy to regain some of the lost muscle mass and hopefully some use of his back legs.  Enter Bully’s Behaven.  Sarge has been moved to their boarding facility in Jackson, NJ where he is under the care and supervision of a trainer.  Bully’s Behaven has graciously donated a mobility cart that allows Sarge to move around and get some exercise. It is extremely exciting to see Sarge running with the other dogs, even though we know he has a long road to go.  He may never gain complete mobility, but we believe he deserves the chance to try. That is why we are asking for your financial support.  Your donations will help to pay for his rehabilitation and physical therapy.
