What is FIV and how does it affect cats?

FIV – which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus – is a complex retrovirus that causes immunodeficiency disease in domestic cats.

If you do an internet search for FIV, a list of articles, definitions and symptoms will appear. Because this is both a technical and emotional medical issue, we have included links to 2 very different articles on the subject.

We are certain if you take the time to view the material you will understand that while FIV is serious, it should not stop you from living with and loving an FIV positive cat.
